The design solution proposes an innovative design for an advertising agency looking to break into Calgary's market. The design is intended to be located in Calgary City Centre, on the 34th floor.
The design Concept revolves around sedimentation, and was inspired by the Client's change in location. Mimicking its distinct nature, the theory of multiple layers working together to create a whole, is implemented to the space planning and overall design. This solution aims to provide inspirational work spaces where collaboration is encouraged.
The design solution proposes a design for a small staring design agency located in the Lister Block building in Hamilton, Ontario. The existing space was to be retrofitted to fit the needs of the client.
The concept for the design revolves around seismic waves and their properties. The concept derived from the agency's mission to "shock and inspire". Mimicking the natural phenomenon, the company's work hierarchy radiates from an epicenter, representing the agency's history and growth. The theory of radial fluidity is implemented to the space planning and aesthetic design.
